When, not if, I have moments of doubting how far out of my comfort zone I can push myself, how many more fears I can conquer in order to live my best life ever-I look back at my footsteps.

I look back and remember how far I’ve come. I remember everything I’ve faced, and all of the fears I’ve overcome.

As J.K Rowling says, “Rock bottom became the solid foundation in which I rebuilt my life.”

Throughout my life, I have had more than one bottom that has been the catalyst for beautiful growth and discovery. These seasons of inner conflict, feeling unworthy, yet also being too much and looking externally for my answers, were the times I now thank. These have been the years that strengthened me and made me who I am today.

Looking back at the journey behind me, I’m empowered by what I know now and how much more there is to learn. With the anticipation of what’s ahead, comes fear of the unknown. It’s the natural human condition. In order to live in alignment with our purpose and our truth, we must face fear as a welcome friend. Jumping all in, out of our comfort zone, is where the transformation happens. When fearful thoughts creep in, I am empowered by what I have conquered thus far.

Are you all in? Do you wan’t to break through your limiting beliefs and your comfort zone?

Here are a few steps to help you get started:

  1. Practice Believing In Yourself. - Our thoughts create our feelings, our feelings create our actions and our actions create our reality. In order to break out of a pattern of feeling stuck, practice believing in you. Believe in your capabilities rather than your self created inabilities. Ways to do this would be making a vision board, journaling, reading positive affirmations and visualizations.

  2. Have A Conversation With Yourself That You Would Offer To A Friend. Speak the truth about what’s holding you back, and challenge the version of you who is scared in order to shift perspective. I refer to this as L.I.N.C. Listen to your thoughts, Investigate them, Navigate them and Conquer them. Challenging the truth of our thoughts is the first step in the deeper conversation with ourself.

  3. Set A Goal. Small steps in breaking out of our comfort zone are much more attainable than setting the bar at the top and feeling dismayed when we feel we’ve failed ourself. Break the larger goal into smaller steps, conquering one at a time in order to increase self-confidence.

Our challenges in life are gifts. When I began to look at my journey as such, I felt empowered for what was ahead rather than fearful. We have the answers within us, we just need to hold on tight and take the leap …

All in!

You are extraordinary. You are exactly where you are meant to be. You are your answer.
