Letting Go And Moving On

I’m in a place in my life where i can look back at the rug burns from being dragged by my inability to release what didn’t support the best version of myself.

I indeed was being dragged, it hurt like hell, but I imagined letting go would hurt even more.

Consciously I knew what i was holding onto didn’t serve me, but subconsciously, the fear of the alternative was too much to consider.

Whether it’s a relationship with someone else, the relationship we have with ourself, our idea of what parenting should look like, or our career; we create emotional wounds and scarring as we grip onto what isn’t meant to be, and/or, what ISN’T EVEN A REALITY.

We get dragged through our stories, our judgements, our sadness, our frustration, and our anxiety; all because we’re too afraid to face one thing; OUR TRUTH.

When we accept what is, and let go of what we think it should have been or should be, rather than what we truly are, we stop being dragged by a reality that just isn’t ours to hold onto.

We are released in a field of honesty, acceptance, love, wisdom, intuition, and joy.

It is here that we create resilience for ourselves. Resilience from living an authentic and truthful life, not a life based in fear and judgement.

I invite you to lessen your grip - you do not need to hold onto it any longer.

Let yourself be released in the field of your reality, where all of you is welcome.

Let go of what doesn’t serve you and call in all that does.
